Birding Hawaii 2020

While leading a student abroad trip in January of 2020 to the Big Island of Hawaii, I was able to spend some free time travelling and photographing some of the many introduced species of birds on the island. These birds have origins all around the globe and while the concept of introduced species can carry a negative connotation, it was an incredible experience to get to see birds from several other continents that I can only dream of visiting all in one place.
